This dress is a bit riske due to the ability to partially see her panties because of the flash photography. (not to mention, it gives her an unhealthy shade of pale) However if you put that aside she does look lovely! The textures really are the stars of this look. The feminine lace gives a nice contrast to the rough net-like texture that frames the dress. You can easily tell that she’s got a nice figure that the dress (and panties) so cleverly bragged about.
Who is this women and why is she so gorgeous?! I feel an instant female crush on her! What a perfect example of how to rock the sultry, sexy look. I absolutely adore everything about it. It’s so perfect I can’t even describe why it’s perfect. Sometimes it’s best to just let the product showcase itself.
The Belle of the ball. My my~~ she sure has grown into such a pretty girl. Initially I thought this dress was too mature for her but then it hit me that she is not as young as I thought she was! (Don’t that make me feel old =.= ) Dakota Fanning has always carried a youthful sophistication even when she was very young. Despite her baby face, she demonstrates a firm understanding to young, chic fashion with this lovely gown. It’s mature but still preserves some innocent elements such as the poofy bottom and the girly lace. Perfect gown for grown up girl like Dakota.
I can not decide which look I prefer for the other so I choose both. Good fashion should always be showcase! (That is my motto) For the look on the left, I quickly think of autumn! I love the illusions of the fallen leaves and how it cascades so beautifully downward. A nice conservative look with a neat autumn twist! For the look on the right, I love how the soft cream color of the dress seems to highlight her skin giving her such a soft angelic glow. The delicate lace texture and the ruffles definitely compliments the innocent and glamorous look.
This look was the only fierce look done right for this year’s Venice Film Festival. I guess everyone wanted to go the pretty route instead? Regardless, she rocked it! So much bold statements in one look can be overwhelming very easily but not this one and that’s why I love it even more! I can even appreciate her top knot hair and I never like that sort of hair style! That’s how good this look is.
This women is seriously never ages! Not only that but she seems to be getting prettier and prettier every time I see her. Good for you Sandra! As for the dress, she convinced me that wearing the same color as the redcarpet can be a good idea. Ok to be honest, it took me a while for her to convince me that this look deserves to be on my Best Dressed list. I typically get turned off when stars wear red because it’s just too much red going on when combined with the red carpet. However, what convinced me was the brilliant structure of the dress. I never thought asymmetry can be done so elegantly! Quite an innovative dress this one…I just wish It was a different color. (Or maybe if she wasn’t surrounded by red)
I love it when an exception to my typical dislikings occurs. For example the dress on the left is one that I would typically dislike right off the bat. It’s black, simple, and boring. That’s strike three so it’s out…right? WRONG! (I might be a bit bias just because it is Scarlett Johansson but) The thing that saved this look is those little drooping sleeves and that gorgeous statement necklace. Because of those, the dress becomes classy and sophisticated.
The look on the left is simpler but still effortlessly elegant. She doesn’t need to do much really because the true secret weapon is her beauty. Now ain’t that nice :)
