Due to an unexpected busy agenda for the end of last week, I wasn’t able to touch my laptop until Monday. Therefore I shall do my Best Dressed weekly entry…..now (cause there are some outfits I came upon that are too lovely to not talk about) :)
Jennifer Hudson in Versace
Sometimes I don’t mind a little tacky-ness to spice a look up (if don’t right of course). Jennifer made this look work by keeping a busy shirt the only thing that’s busy. Everything else is made to compliment the whole look without adding another bold statement. I know those chunky gold jewelries and belt can be too overwhelming for some but I think it’s a nice fierce sidekick for the awesome top.
Kelly Osbourne at the Young Hollywood Awards 2013
I always find it odd how I love Kelly’s classy style on the red carpets but she never quite makes it to my favorites lists. I think it’s because there’s always something a bit off about her looks that hasn’t quite impressed me yet. Still I always find myself rooting for her to amaze me one of these days. THE DAY HAS COME! I love the gorgeous popping yellow! I’ve always loved her lilac hair especially when she gives it a fun companion like this awesome dress!
Kate Hudson in Balmain
Remember when I said I tend to have a love for the tacky let’s add this dress to the list. There’s always something so intriguing about busy looks done right! I know this dress is not the typical girl’s cup of tea and i can see how many think this dress is too confusing. THAT’S WHY I LOVE IT SOOOOO MUCH! The colors is AMAZINGLY APPEALING! I love I love how it’s so adventurous, modern but also incorporates a bit of lolita fashion into it. This dress reminds me a lot of the dresses the lolitas or fashionistas of tokyo/shibuya would wear. It’s fun, youthful, crazy, and totally fierce! My favorite of favorites for this week!
Lily Collins in Sachin Babi
Lily is becoming a favorite fashion icon of mine because a lot of her looks are something I’d see myself in. I love how even though she repeats the same styles of cutesy, elegance, and not-trying-too-hard chic, I never get bored of seeing her. But hey if it stiill works why fix it right? It’s the style that works well for her and I can’t wait to see what other looks she’ll wear!
Paula Pattons in Olivia Tolentino
This dress is a perfect dress for those mature ladies to have fun and still keeping it age-appropriate. First off, I love it when dresses have sleeves when cut off at the elbows. It gives a sophisticated grace that is so effortless yet so effective. Also the shade of yellow is so flattering on her deep skin, I’m so glad she decided to wear matching heels too. This color works for her!
Lyndsy Fonseca in the Hellers (left) and Angelys Balek (right)
These looks don’t belong in the right Fashion weekly favorites but I can’t help it. Those looks are too adorable not to have a special mentioned! She looks absolutely adorable from head to toe! I must have these clothings in my closet!
